The application of cleaning machines in the automotive industry
2024-07-13 14:10:31

The selection of water-based cleaning or solvent cleaning for industrial equipment cleaning machines is based on the material and process requirements of your parts. If the cleanliness requirements for general cleaning are not high, water-based cleaning is preferred. If high cleanliness is required for cleaning and your parts have complex geometries with many fine seams and blind holes, solvent cleaning should be used.

For solvent cleaning, you need to choose an environmentally friendly fully enclosed metal parts cleaning machine. Whether it is tetrachloroethylene solvent or hydrocarbon solvent, they are both VOC solvents, which means they are volatile organic solvents. According to environmental standards, single tank fully enclosed equipment must be used. At present, the multi slot devices on the market are all open systems because the conversion between slot cylinders is fully exposed to the atmosphere, which is unsafe and environmentally friendly equipment.

Like other manufacturing fields, industrial component and surface cleaning increasingly emphasizes cost efficiency, sustainability, and quality optimization. D ü rrEoclean's innovative EcoCSteam technology is fully in line with industry trends. This new steam cleaning process does not need detergent, and can quickly and reliably remove particles or membrane pollutants on any material, such as oil, grease, lotion, mold lubricant, debris, particles, dust and fingerprints. In addition, this environmentally friendly technology can easily achieve automation, and with this advantage, users can easily integrate the technology into the production line without any effort.

In the past, when cleaning large and heavy components such as wind turbine transmission systems, locomotive modules and bodies, ships and marine engines, users often needed to use expensive oversized cleaning equipment. EcoCSteam has opened up a new approach for such applications with good cleaning quality and high cost efficiency. When cleaning mechanical components such as cylinder heads, casings, and stamped parts, this system can achieve good results. In addition, the system is also suitable for cleaning storage tanks, synthetic components, profiles, and can clean metal and plastic components before spraying or coating. Compared with traditional solutions, EcoCSteam has better cleaning quality and shorter cycle time, which has been fully confirmed in various applications inside and outside the automotive industry.

The innovative steam generation technology ensures process reliability, and the new steam generation method jointly developed by D ü rr Ecoclean and multiple experts in the field is a key factor in ensuring the effectiveness of the EcoCSteam process. This technology adopts the principle of "through flow" water heating, which sends pressurized water through a pipeline system containing loops. According to different cleaning tasks, the EcoCSteam system can heat water to 135 to 280 ℃, convert water into steam, and then pump the steam to the cleaning nozzle through pipelines.

Unlike traditional boiler systems, the through flow steam generation method ensures a constant steam quantity and quality, providing stable steam characteristics for cleaning tasks. Through a programmable logic controller (PLC), the EcoCSteam system can adjust heating power and water and steam flow rates, and continuously monitor and control these parameters.

Steam interacts with air to ensure excellent cleaning results. Thanks to the interaction between saturated steam and high-speed airflow, this system has excellent cleaning performance. As soon as the steam jet leaves the nozzle, it is surrounded by hot air accelerated to extremely high speeds, which can directly concentrate on the surface that needs to be cleaned. The combination of extremely high air flow velocity and steam characteristics can effectively prevent the mixing of these two media.

In order to achieve the cleaning effect, the system can control the moisture content in the steam according to the cleaning task or specific pollutant type. For example, when removing oil stains, the system will use wet steam to change the viscosity of the oil. First, the oil will be atomized into ultra-fine oil droplets, and then air flow will be used to blow it off the surface of the component together with particulate pollutants. In addition, high-speed airflow also has a drying function.
